Shop

A shop is a project section where you keep a product catalog and accept orders. Products, prices, stock, delivery and payment are set up in the shop once. They are sold by a chatbot or a mini app: these show the catalog to the customer, collect the cart and place the order, and the order lands in the shop.

A shop has:

  • a catalog — products with photos, price, stock, variants (size, color), categories and characteristics;
  • orders — a list of orders from all channels, statuses, payment, the history of each order;
  • customers — a customer base that builds itself from orders;
  • analytics — revenue, best sellers, the funnel, abandoned carts, stock;
  • settings — currency, checkout rules, delivery and payment methods.

Where it lives

Open the project and choose "Shops" in the menu. A project can have several shops — each has its own catalog, orders, customers and settings.

A click on a shop opens it. On the left is the shop's menu:

Menu item What is in it
"Orders" The shop's orders. Next to the name is the number of orders with the "New" status
"Products" The catalog: the product list, the product card, import
"Categories" The catalog's category tree
"Characteristics" The list of characteristics that filters work by
"Customers" The customer base
"Analytics" Sales reports
"Settings" "General", "Checkout", "Delivery", "Payments"

The shop's name is at the top of the menu. Click it to go to another shop of the project without returning to the list.

Note

The "Shops" section works only on the Russian-language sites of the platform.

How the shop is connected to the bot and the mini app

The shop itself shows nothing to the customer — it is a catalog and order bookkeeping. Sales go through channels:

  • Chatbot. The "Shop: catalog", "Shop: cart", "Shop: checkout" and "Shop: orders" blocks show products and place the order right in the conversation.
  • Mini app. Storefront elements — products, the product card, the cart, checkout — build a shop with screens inside the messenger or in the browser.
  • Manually. An order taken by phone or in a chat is placed by a team member in the "Orders" section.

The bot and the mini app work with the shops of the same project. A customer has one cart per shop: a product added in one channel is visible in the other.

More details are on the Selling through the bot and the mini app page.

What you need

  • The shop itself does not need a Pro subscription. You can create a shop, fill the catalog, handle orders and customers and view analytics without a subscription. Pro is needed by the sales channels — the bot and the mini app. See the What is available without Pro page for details.
  • Team member permissions. The project owner can do everything. A team member's permissions are set in their role — in the "Shops" block:
Permission group Permissions What they allow
"Administration" "Create shops", "Configure shops", "Delete shops" Creating and deleting shops, the name, currency, checkout, delivery, payment, the order of shops in the list
"Catalog" "Products and categories" Editing products, categories and characteristics, import
"Orders" "View orders and customers", "Process orders" Viewing orders, customers and analytics; changing statuses, editing orders and customers, manual orders

With any of these permissions, a team member sees the "Shops" section and the catalog. The "Orders", "Customers" and "Analytics" items in the shop's menu appear only with order permissions. How to give a team member access is covered in the Account and projects section.

  • Online payment. For customers to pay by card or via SBP (the Russian Faster Payments System), connect a payment system in the project settings and choose it in the shop. Without it, the shop accepts orders with payment on delivery. See the Order payment page for details.

Limits

  • A project can have no more than 100 shops, and no more than 20 can be created per day.
  • A shop can have no more than 10,000 products, 500 categories and 200 characteristics.
  • A shop has one currency. It cannot be changed after the first order.
